Our North Clackamas Schools have a lot to be proud of. Our graduation and attendance rates are among the highest in Oregon, our schools attract families to our area and support strong property values in our neighborhoods. The school district also has an excellent record of accountability. Our schools do have some problems though; aging buildings, overcrowding and safety issues.
North Clackamas Schools will place a general obligation bond on the Nov. 8 ballot, following the School Board’s unanimous approval of final ballot language on June 9. Estimates show the current property tax rate of $2.37 per $1,000 assessed value would continue, if approved by voters.
